Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 is officially here. Fans of the hit Disney+ series have been waiting for the show's second season for two years, and now, that wait is finally over.
Percy Jackson season 2 is really good, and it officially premieres on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, at 12 a.m. EST on Disney+ and Hulu. The first two episodes of season 2 will be available on Dec. 10, and then Disney+ is dropping new episodes of the season weekly on Wednesdays.
In season 2, Walker Scobell returns as Percy Jackson, along with Leah Jeffries as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood. You'll also see a lot of Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse and Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan in the new season, along with a bunch of new and returning faces.
The second season tells the story from the second book in Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series, The Sea of Monsters.
What time are new episodes of Percy Jackson season 2 released?
Disney+ is switching up the release strategy for Percy Jackson season 2. After dropping new episodes in prime time for season 1, the new episodes of Percy Jackson season 2 are dropping a few hours later, but it's going to make a big difference.
Percy Jackson season 2 episodes will be released at 12 a.m. EST on Wednesdays, beginning on Dec. 10. The midnight premiere also means that fans on the West Coast of the United States actually get to watch the episode at 9 p.m. PST on Tuesday nights.
In other words, the first two episodes of Percy Jackson season 2 will be available to stream at 9 p.m. PST on Tuesday, Dec. 10, on Disney+ and Hulu. So, if you live on the West Coast like me, this is the perfect release schedule. We don't have to stay up to late to hang out with Percy J and the gang.

There are eight episodes in Percy Jackson season 2, just like the first season. As mentioned, the first two episodes drop on Wednesday, Dec. 10, and then we'll get one episode per week through the season 2 finale on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
We also know all the episode titles for the upcoming season, and like the first season, they correspond with titles of chapters in The Sea of Monsters.

- "I Go Down with the Ship" (Episode 7): Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 12 a.m. EST
- "The Fleece Works Its Magic Too Well" (Episode 8): Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 12 a.m. EST
There are a couple of big dates for Percy Jackson season 2 episodes! We get a new episode, the fourth of the season, on Wednesday, Dec. 24, which is Christmas Eve. We also get a new episode on Wednesday, Dec. 31, which is New Year's Eve.

After Grover goes missing on a perilous mission to find Pan, the God of the Wild, Percy and Annabeth set out on a quest of their own to find Grover. They also have some big problems back at Camp Half-Blood thanks to the villainous Luke Castellan, who is still serving Kronos, the Titan.

"After Camp Half-Blood’s protective border is breached, Percy Jackson embarks on an epic odyssey into the Sea of Monsters in search of his best friend Grover and the one thing that may save the camp — the legendary Golden Fleece. With help from Annabeth, Clarisse and his newfound cyclops half-brother Tyson, Percy’s survival becomes essential to stopping Luke, the Titan Kronos, and their impending plan to bring down Camp Half-Blood — and ultimately, Olympus."
