Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 just ended on Jan. 21, 2026. Less than two months after the season 2 finale, we already have incredible news to share about Percy Jackson season 3.
The cast and crew officially wrapped filming on Percy Jackson season 3 on Friday, March 13, according to the official Percy Jackson account on X. In the post, fans can see Walker Scobell, who stars as Percy Jackson, holding a sign that reads, "That's a wrap! Percy Jackson season 3."
We were expecting production to wrap soon. Many outlets reported Friday as the possible wrap date for the upcoming season, so it's good to know the series was on schedule.
That's not the only good news about Percy Jackson season 3, though!

Percy Jackson season 3 is coming to Disney+ in 2026 after wrapping filming this spring
In addition to the production news, we also learned that Percy Jackson season 3 is coming to Disney+ in 2026. In other words, less than one year after the second season came to an end, we're going to be watching the Percy Jackson season 3 premiere.
That's obviously great news for fans. We had to wait almost exactly two years between seasons 1 and 2. Now, we only have to wait like 11 months, max, between season 2 and season 3? That's some seriously great work. Hopefully, we'll see the cast and crew stay on that schedule for the final two seasons of the series, as well.
At the time of publishing, Disney+ has not revealed the specific release window for Percy Jackson season 3 yet, but everyone assumes the season will premiere in December 2026. That's when the first two seasons premiered in 2023 and 2025, respectively. With production ending in March, we could potentially see the season before December, but that would be a long shot considering the post-production work required to bring this season to life.
For now, expect to see Percy Jackson season 3 in December 2026, and we'll adjust expectations as needed.

Percy Jackson season 3 cast adds new stars
First of all, we all know that Percy Jackson season 3 will adapt the third book of Rick Riordan's series, The Titan's Curse. There will probably be some changes, but we are expecting this to be a pretty faithful adaptation considering how important it is to the larger story.
In addition to the filming news, we also learned some interesting casting news for Percy Jackson season 3, as well. Ming-Na Wen will star as Hera in the new season, along with Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo, Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo, Dafne Keen as Artemis, and Saara Chaudry as Zoë Nightshade. That's not all! Kate McKinnon joins the series as Aphrodite, along with Jennifer Beals as Demeter, Hubert Smielecki as Apollo, Holt McCallany as Atlas, and Jesse L. Martin as Frederick Chase.
Of course, Scobell, Leah Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Daniel Diemer, Dior Goodjohn, and Tamara Smart will be back in season 3, too, along with Courtney B. Vance, Andra Day, Jason Mantzoukas, Glenn Turman, and more.
Stay tuned for more news about Percy Jackson season 3!
