10 scripted shows coming out in June 2024

House of the Dragon, The Boys, Star Wars: The Acolyte, The Bear, Fantasmas, Clipped...there's something for everyone on TV over the next month.

TV studios are bringing out the big guns for June. Here are 10 TV shows, both new and returning, to look out for in the new month:

  1. Star Wars: The Acolyte (June 4, Disney+) — A new show set in the Star Wars unvierse explores the rise of the Sith during a time when the Jedi order is at the height of its power.
  2. Clipped (June 4, Hulu) — This docudrama traces the downfall of one-time Clippers owner
  3. Donald Sterling.

  4. Fantasmas (June 8, HBO and Max) — Julio Torres, one of the creators of HBO's creative show
  5. Los Espookys, returns with another surreal comedy series, this one set in an alternate New York City.

  6. Presumed Innocent (June 12, Apple TV+) — This legal drama stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Chicago prosecutor Rusty Sabich, who is accused of murdering a colleague.
  7. The Boys season 4 (June 13, Amazon Prime Video)The Boys asks what the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be like if all the superheroes were amoral monsters. The fourth season promises to be even more depraved and ambitious than the first three.
  8. House of the Dragon season 2 (June 16, HBO and Max) — HBO's Game of Thrones prequel series continues. This season, rival factions of the Targaryen dynasty will go to war. Cue the dragons roars.
  9. Orphan Black: Echoes (June 23, AMC) — A cloning experiment in the year 2052 leaves a group of women trying to figure out who they are. This show has a whole new cast from the original Orphan Black series.
  10. Land of Women (June 26, Apple TV+) — This six-episode series stars Eva Longoria as a New Yorker who heads to a small town in Spain with her mother and teen daughter after her family is put at risk by her husband's financial scandal.
  11. The Bear season 3 (June 27, Hulu) — Carmy the irascible Chicago chef continues to fight battles both personal and professional in the third season of the successful dramady that made Jeremy Allen White a star.
  12. My Lady Jane (June 26, Amazon Prime Video) — This YA alternate history series imagines a world where Lady Jane Grey wasn't beheaded by his husband Henry Tudor, aka Henry VIII.

Personally, I'm most excited for House of the Dragon and The Boys, and may check out Fantasmas. But there's plenty here for everyone.
