Disney has released a lot of Marvel TV shows since 2021, but a lot of fans would argue that it doesn't get better than the first: WandaVision was an inventive drama that paid homage to sitcoms of yesteryear while also advancing the story of Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch. The breakout character was Agatha Harkness, an ambitious witch played by Kathryn Hahn. Don't act like you don't remember the song:

Now, three years later, Agatha is back with her own series named after that catchy ditty. When last we left her, Wanda had put Agatha under a spell imprisoning her in the persona of a nosy sitcom neighbor. In this new series, she's set free from that spell, assembles a coven of witches, and resolves to "walk the road," whatever that means. Apparently she's lost her powers and must walk that road to get them back.

Agatha All Along will have nine episodes in all, the same number as WandaVision. And like WandaVision, the first two will drop on the same day, in this case Wednesday, September 18. The remaining seven will come out at a rate of one per week every Wednesday thereafter. We don't know any of the episode titles yet, but we can give you the full schedule:

  • Episode 1: September 18, 2024
  • Episode 2: September 18, 2024
  • Episode 3: September 25, 2024
  • Episode 4: October 2, 2024
  • Episode 5: October 9, 2024
  • Episode 6: October 16, 2024
  • Episode 7: October 23, 2024
  • Episode 8: October 30, 2024
  • Episode 9: November 6, 2024

In addition to Hahn returning as Agatha, Agatha All Along also stars the likes of Aubrey Plaza and Patti LuPone, both of whom I can easily imagine playing witches, as well as Ali Ahn and Sasheer Zamata. Debra Jo Rupp and Emma Caulfield return from WandaVision, and Heartstopper's Joe Locke plays a mysterious character credits only as "Teen."

What's his deal? Tune in on September 18 to find out.
