Hold onto your office chairs and prep your memory partitions, because we're returning to the wildly imaginative world of Apple TV+'s Severance! Season 2 is back on track.

After a break due to both writers and actors strikes last year, the curtain has been raised again, revealing an exciting and quite mysterious first glimpse behind the scenes.

Series director Ben Stiller retweeted a black-and-white snapshot posted by the official Apple TV+ account showing Mark Scout (the ever-charismatic Adam Scott), dashing like there's no tomorrow. What could he be running from...or to? This teaser is like a jolt of caffeine to our curiosity, promising a season even more thrilling than the first!

Remember the first season? I can already hear the immensely pleasing intro song playing. Mark, our dear history professor turned corporate guinea pig, underwent the infamous "severance" procedure, splitting his consciousness between his job and his personal life. And let's not forget Dylan (Zach Cherry), juggling fatherhood with his role in this creepy experiment. And that cliffhanger with Ms. Casey a.k.a. Gemma at the end? Talk about leaving us hanging on the edge of our seats. How rude!

The first season not only captivated audiences but also bagged a whopping fourteen Primetime Emmy nominations. The star-studded cast featuring incredibly talented actors John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. And with directors like Stiller and Aoife McArdle on board, I bet we'll be in for even more of a treat this time around.

While details of this second season's plot are still very much hidden, we can assume that we're in for a wild ride as Mark continues his battle to protect others from his fate. Plus, according to Variety, cast members like Gwendoline Christie, John Noble, and Alia Shawkat are joining the fray, adding more excitement and talent to this magnificent series.

Next. got. No one from the Game of Thrones set has "a single bad thing to say" about the showrunners. dark
