Tomorrow, Paramount+ will air the season 2 finale of Halo, its sci-fi action series based on the beloved video game franchise. The finale, simply titled "Halo," will see the Master Chief (Pablo Schrieber) and his allies make one last attempt to secure the titular space station ring ahead of their alien enemies, the Covenant.

But there may soon be even more players on this intergalactic chess board. It's our pleasure to debut an exclusive clip from "Halo," which features Kwan Ha (Yerin Ha) and Soren (Bokeem Woodbine). Kwan brings a mystical element to the series; throughout the show, she has been having visions which tie into larger events yet to come. Now that the finale is here, some of those visions have gotten her pretty spooked. Watch the clip below, then we'll discuss:

Kwan Ha's visions tell her to "run" in Halo season 2 finale

A few episodes back, Kwan Ha began seeing visions of a shaman, who we saw killed on Sanctuary during the season 2 premiere. Those visions have continued to haunt Kwan, and from the looks of things they'll get even worse in the finale. Here, these visions tell her to "run."

This spooks Kwan enough that she confides in Soren about a darkness she's sensed, something that's watched her since she was a child. Now, she believes it's close. But Soren isn't about to leave without his wife Laera (Fiona O'Shaughnessy) and son Kessler (Tylan Bailey), who were captured by the UNSC.

What darkness is Kwan talking about here? It's hard to be certain, but we did get an intriguing hint during last week's episode, "Thermopylae," when Kwan, Dr. Halsey (Natasha McElhone) and Miranda (Olive Grey) discovered some sort of contagion that swept across the stars in ancient times. There is such a contagion in the Halo games as well, known as the Flood. Short version: it's very, very bad.

We last saw Kwan take off running to warn the Master Chief and the others about this threat. Perhaps that's connected to the "monster" Kwan is so afraid of here?

Find out when the season 2 finale of Halo drops on Paramount+ tomorrow! We'll be reviewing the episode, so check back for the full discussion of all its twists and turns.
