Imagine the same ol' Game of Thrones we all love so much, but make it animated.
Think about it: dragons swooping and breathing fire in flashy 2D or ultra-cool 3D, epic battles that make your eyes pop out, and all those stunning fantasy landscapes that look like they've been lifted straight out of a dream. With all the talk about a potential animated Game of Thrones remake, I got a little excited by the possibilities.
You wouldn't have to worry about CGI budgets for direwolves or dragons; in animation, everything can be as big and badass as you want. And the White Walkers? They could be even creepier in the way they move and look, ghost-like figures floating around like spooky ice specters.
With the power of animation, the Battle of the Bastards would be even more jaw-dropping, with wild, sweeping camera angles that are impracticable in live-action. We could see dragons doing loop-the-loops in the sky, direwolves the size of trucks, and magic that actually looks like, well, magic. An animated Game of Thrones show wouldn't just tell a story; it would be like diving headfirst into the most epic, fantastical, and mind-bending artwork you've ever seen.
Now, let's talk dream-casting for our animated Game of Thrones. For Jon Snow, we need someone who can sound broody, heroic, and a little bit surprised all the time (because let's face it, Jon always looks a bit startled). And for Daenerys, we need a voice that can go from sweet and innocent to "I will take what is mine with fire and blood" at the flip of a switch. Tyrion? We need witty and clever with a hint of mischief. There's got to be that voice actor who nails the smartest-guy-in-the-room vibe, and there is.
Let's take a look at which voice actors nail these parts, just for fun.

1. Jon Snow — Yuri Lowenthal
Yuri Lowenthal is pretty much the perfect voice for our animated Jon Snow. He's got this knack for playing characters who are all about that hero life but also carry around a backpack full of feelings and drama. You've heard him in Naruto and as Spider-Man; and he's got that cool, calm hero voice. But he can also whip out the emotional depth when it's time for some serious brooding. And who does more heroic brooding than Jon Snow? Exactly, no one.
Yuri's voice has a great mix of strength and softness. He sounds like he can swing a sword while reciting poetry about his long-lost love and his complicated family tree. That's Jon Snow to a T.

2. Daenerys Targaryen — Tara Strong
Tara Strong as the voice of Daenerys Targaryen would be a match made in animated heaven. Tara Strong is basically a voice-acting superstar; she's the voice behind iconic characters like Harley Quinn and Miss Minutes in Loki. Now, picture that range with Daenerys, the girl who starts off as a timid, unsure princess and then turns into the Mother of Dragons, commanding armies and scorching her enemies.
Tara's got an incredible ability to infuse her characters with a mix of grit and grace, making them feel super powerful but also relatable. Daenerys needs that kind of voice, one that can whisper gently one moment and then roar like a dragon the next. It's the kind of voice acting that would make our animated Daenerys not just cool, but absolutely unforgettable.
