Paramount+ is rolling along with its Halo TV show, based on the first-person shooter video game series. New episodes drop every Thursday, and we have an advance clip from tomorrow's adventure!

In last week's episode, the Master Chief was off on the planet Aleria grieving his dead Spartan friend Vannak (Bentley Kalu); the episode ended with the reveal that Ackerson (Joseph Morgan) and Kai (Kate Kennedy) were building a new human army at a hidden base codenamed Onyx following the Fall of Reach. It looks like Master Chief’s path will cross with the UNSC again in tomorrow's new episode, titled "Onyx."

In this clip, the Master Chief is bound and interrogated by Captain Briggs (Anna Koval), who last crossed paths with our hero in Episode 203, where she did Ackerson’s bidding to capture Chief’s unit after they went looking for their missing Spartan comrades in Cobalt Team. Hence the animosity between Chief and Briggs in this scene. Watch below:

Chief wants to see Admiral Parangosky (Shabana Azmi), who we learned earlier in the season was secretly still working for ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence) despite leading Chief to believe otherwise during the season premiere. Considering that ONI left the people of Reach behind to die, I’d bet Master Chief doesn’t have kind words for his former ally.

The first season of Halo was mostly shrugged off by fans and viewers, but the second has been getting a warmer reception. See if the good times continue with "Onyx," dropping on Paramount+ on March 7.

Next. Halo. Halo holds steady as it navigates the emotional fallout of Reach in "Aleria". dark
