Percy Jackson and the Olympians release schedule and book reading order
The first two episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians are out now on Disney+! This adaptation of Rick Riordan's book series aims to do what the pair of 2010 Percy Jackson movies couldn't: entertain people.
The first two episodes are entitled "I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher" and "I Become Supreme Lord of the Bathroom," both pretty self-explanatory. There are eight episodes total in this first season. Here's when you can watch the rest:

Percy Jackson and the Olympians reading order
Riordan actually wrote a few different series involving Percy Jackson and his friends. The first and most famous is Percy Jackson and the Olmpians. Here are the first five books in that series:
Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series
- The Lightning Thief
- The Sea of Monsters
- The Titan's Curse
- The Battle of the Labyrinth
- The Last Olympian
After that, Riordan picked up Percy's story in the Heroes of Olympus series:
Heroes of Olympus
- The Lost Hero
- The Son of Neptune
- The Mark of Athena
- The House of Hades
- The Blood of Olympus
Finally, just this year, Riordan wrote a brand new Percy Jackson book called The Chalice of the Gods, which picks up with Percy in high school. That's the most recent entry.
Will the Disney+ show be able to get through all of this material? Let's watch and find out.
