Release schedule for all 8 episodes of Doctor Who season 14

The upcoming season of Doctor Who will be the first to feature Ncuti Gatwa in the lead role. Here's when to watch the episodes.

Another era of Doctor Who approaches. After making his debut last year in a couple of specials, actor Ncuti Gatwa is about to feature in his first full season of Doctor Who, the fourth since Russell T Davies revived the series back in 2005. After some years away, Davies is back as showrunner, and he's calling this new season "season 1," which tells you he thinks it's a big deal.

There are lots of changes afoot. There's also a new companion named Ruby Sunday, played by Millie Gibson. Also, the show has gotten an infusion of cash thanks to Disney. New episodes will drop on Fridays on the Disney+ streaming service in most places in the world. The exception it the U.K., where they'll drop on the BBC iPlayer at midnight on Friday nights and then air linearly the next day on the BBC.

The show has always been associated with the U.K., and some fans are upset that folks in the rest of the world will get to watch the new episodes before British fans. But like I said, there are changes afoot.

Here's the schedule for the upcoming season of Doctor Who. This is for the Disney+ releases. In the U.K., the episodes will air linearally the day after:

  • Doctor Who Episode 1401: "Space Babies" — Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. EST
  • Doctor Who Episode 1402: "The Devil's Chord" — Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. EST
  • Doctor Who Episode 1403: "Boom" — Friday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. EST
  • Doctor Who Episode 1404: "73 Yards" — Friday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. EST
  • Doctor Who Episode 1405: "Dot and Bubble" — Friday, May 31 at 7:00 p.m. EST
  • Doctor Who Episode 1406: "Rogue" — Friday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. EST
  • Doctor Who Episode 1407: "The Legend of Ruby Sunday" — Friday, June 14 at 7:00 p.m. EST
  • Doctor Who Episode 1408: "Empire of Death" — Friday, June 21 at 7:00 p.m. EST
