We have a full plate this week on Take the Black, our weekly chat show about all things fantasy, sci-fi, movies and TV. Let's dig in

We kick off the show with some new news about the release for House of the Dragon season 2, which we've narrowed down to just a few days in June. We'll see if our guess is borne out. From there, we have an early review of Dune: Part Two, which opens this weekend! I really enjoyed it. Meanwhile, Daniel really loved Shōgun, a new show on FX and Hulu. And we're both pretty lukewarm on Netflix's new remake of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Watch the full show below!

And as always, we run through a list of smaller stories at the end of the episode and give our 20-second opinions on them. It's the WiC News Lightning Round, and it's breathlessly exciting.

The Take the Black Podcast is on iTunes and Google Play! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.

We stream new episodes of Take the Black every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. CST on the WinterIsComing YouTube page and Facebook page. Join us!
