In the third season of Game of Thrones, Daenerys Targaryen meets Daario Naharis, a rakish mercenary who immediately starts making sex eyes at her. In this season, he was played by actor Ed Skrein.

For whatever reason, Skrein did not return to the role when Game of Thrones came back for season 4. Instead, he was replaced by Michiel Huisman, who played Daario all the way through his final appearance in season 6.

Game of Thrones fans debate to this day which version of Daario was better. Now, the two actors behind the character get to square off in Zack Snyder's new sci-fi epic Rebel Moon: Part One - A Child of Fire, streaming now on Netflix.

In this movie, Ed Skrein plays Admiral Atticus Noble, a representative of an oppressive galactic empire. Meanwhile, Michiel Huisman plays Gunnar, a farmer who joins a resistance against the empire.

Noble and Gunnar are at odds in Rebel Moon, although they don't actually fight, at least not in this first movie. Maybe they'll have a proper scrap in Rebel Moon: Part 2 -- The Scargiver, which drops on Netflix on April 19. That should give Game of Thrones fans some new ammunition to use in the debate over which actor was better as Daario Naharis.
