Dune: Part Two is now out in theaters, and people are loving it. It's led a lot of people to take a look at the original Dune books by Frank Herbert; he wrote six novels between 1965 and 1985. Some places are offering deals on the books, according to IGN.

First let's go through each of the six main Dune books individually. The first Dune book, FYI, forms the basis for both of Denis Villeneuve's Dune movies, both Part One and Part Two. He also has plans to adapt sequel book Dune Messiah as Dune: Part Three sometime down the line.

But there are more sequels beyond that. Here are the first six books in publication order, links to where to buy them, and how much they cost as of this writing (prices are for the paperback versions):

The first six Dune books are divided in two halfs. The first three books — Dune, Dune Messiah, and Children of Dune — tell one big story, more or less, with essentially the same cast of characters. God Emperor of Dune jumps far ahead in the timeline, and then there's another huge jump with Heretics of Dune. You may be interested in this boxset of the first three Dune books, which costs only $16.28 in paperback, a great deal.

You can also buy the full six-book boxset for $95.02, although I think it'd be cheaper to buy the books individually. These deals are all available at Target, at well.
