Who is Fallout star Moisés Arias (Norm)?
By Dan Selcke
Fallout is a new sci-fi show on Amazon Prime Video that's winning over a lot of fans, both those who have played the post-apocalyptic Fallout video game series and those who are new to the story. It follows Lucy (Ella Purnell), a "Vault Dweller" who emerges onto the irradiated and inhospitable surface of the planet for the first time in her life to search for her missing father. Her younger brother Norm (Moisés Arias) remains in Vault 33, plumbing its mysteries.
Moisés Arias is 29 years old, which actually makes him older than Ella Purnell, who is 27. So the younger brother is older than the older sister. Well, things get weird in the vaults.
As an actor Moisés Arias has a pretty interesting history. One of his first big roles was playing Rico Suave in 70 episodes of the Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana. He also appeared on shows like The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Wizards of Waverly Place, so he had a pretty big Disney connection when he was starting out as a child actor.
Arias would go on to star in movies like Ender's Game, Pitch Perfect 3 and The King of Statan Island. Outside of acting, he co-founded MSFTSrep, a youth collective and fashion brand alongside Jaden Smith, Willow Smith and his brother Mateo Arias, who is also an actor. One of the more curious incidents in Arias' career came in 2014, when he was 20 and photographed shirtless in bed with a then-13-year-old Willow Smith. This trigged an investigation into the Smith household by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. All parties were cleared.
Arias' role in Fallout is one of his most visible as an adult actor, and it could lead to even bigger things if the show continues to be popular as it continues.
