Sophie Turner has shared her reaction to having an on-screen kiss with Kit Harington, and it has to be seen to be believed!

Game of Thrones fans know all about the twisted romances on that show. It began with the revelation of Cersei and Jaime's secret affair and would continue with some downright troubling couples and relationships abounding.

Turner’s Sansa was subjected to that brutal relationship with the psychotic Geoffrey, and what a relief that he died before their wedding night. That carried Sansa on her great journey to eventually become Queen of the North.

Turner has kept busy since the show ended with the crime drama Joan, Jean Grey in the X-Men movies, and a scene-stealing part in the comedy Do Revenge. She finally got a reunion with a former GOT co-star for her latest movie…only to have a pretty rough reaction to it that’s hilarious to see.

Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Turner was promoting her new thriller, Trust, which opens Aug. 22. She brought up her next project, The Dreadful, due next year. The gothic horror story is set in 15th-century England during the War of the Roses, with Turner and Marcia Gay Harden as mother and daughter wrestling with a family secret.

"I just got this script for this amazing gothic horror called The Dreadful," Turner explained. "I was reading through all the characters and I'm producing it, so the director was asking me, 'Who do you think?' Immediately, the first person I thought of was Kit."

This, of course, was Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow on GOT and shared many scenes with Turner. Turner was only thinking of how Harington would be great for the on-screen role of her love interest, and it was Harington who had to point out the obvious reason fans would be taken aback by this.

"I sent the script to Kit and he sent me a message back going like, 'Yeah, I'd love to, but this is going to be really f****** weird, Soph. I was like, 'What is he talking about?' I was reading it and I'm like 'kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex.' I'm like, 'Oh, shoot, that's my brother.'”

The pair went ahead with the scene as Harington liked the script. This led to the shoot itself, where Turner likely makes history as the first woman to hate having an on-screen kiss with Kit Harington.

"So, we put it out of our minds and then we get on set and it's the first kissing scene and we are both retching. Really, it is vile. It was the worst. Another really bad moment in my career."

Turner showed a fun sense of humor about the scene, and it proves how she and Harington continue to be good friends following the show. It will be interesting to see the movie itself and how GOT fans have to put up with a different view of the Sansa/Jon scenes.

Game of Thrones is streaming on HBO Max.
