Welcome to Take the Black, the weekly show where we talk about all things sci-fi, fantasy, movies, TV and books. We have two big items on the agenda for today: House of the Dragon and Star Wars: Andor, together with some other odds and ends. Watch the newest episode below!

First up: House of the Dragon. HBO is filming the third season of this Game of Thrones prequel show right now. We know it will start with the Battle of the Gullet, a huge battle scene that the cast and crew are talking up like it's going to be the most impressive thing in TV history. Should we believe them? And apparently that's one of the two spectacular action set pieces we're going to get next season. Is it too early to get excited for season 3?

As for Andor, the latest three episodes were incredible, a high point for the show and maybe for the Star Wars franchise as a whole. I know that sounds insane but I just watched them and they were good enough to inspire that kind of high. We break down the high points of "Messenger," "Who Are You?" and "Welcome to the Rebellion" and try to explain why they feel so powerful.

Beyond that, Daniel catches up on Daredevil: Born Again, which has more in common with Star Wars: Andor than you might think. And we also spare some time for the latest episode of The Last of Us, which is already barreling towards the end of its second season. How does the TV show compare to the games? Is it too faithful or not faithful enough? Both at once?
