Every fan remembers their first time watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Peter Jackson was able to portray Middle-earth and its people in a compelling manner that mirrors the books in many aspects. Frodo's journey to Mordor has been etched into our minds ever since, despite the films now being more than 20 years old. But the actors themselves still have quite a journey ahead of them.
On October 23, a TikTok video was sent out by FanExpo HQ, showing our four favorite hobbits together: Elijah Wood (Frodo), Sean Astin (Sam), Billy Boyd (Pippin), and Dominic Monaghan (Merry). They could hardly keep their composure as they announced that they would all be going on a tour together in 2026.

An Evening with the Hobbits: In Celebration of 25 Years
You can tell by the excitement from the video that this is going to be a special event. FanExpo themselves has confirmed that this will be a reunion tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Fellowship of the Ring hitting theaters. Titled An Evening with the Hobbits: In Celebration of 25 Years, there will be 11 shows at Fan Expo events across America, giving fans ample time to get autographs and attend a few panels!
There's no doubt that the actors will share their experiences with the movies and give us new insights into the joys and challenges they encountered. If we're lucky, we might even learn some tidbits about future projects, like Andy Serkis's The Hunt for Gollum film, which Wood is expected to appear in. Either way, this tour will be filled with funny stories and moments that fans will not soon forget.
Where will the shows take place?
According to the TikTok video, there will be no shortage of cities that the hobbits will be adventuring to for the reunion tour. They could hardly hold it together long enough to name off the places they will be visiting! Fortunately, FanExpo HQ has displayed all the locations on their website. An Evening with the Hobbits is going to New Orleans, Portland, Vancouver, Orlando, Calgary, Denver, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, and Dallas.
Among all of the announced dates for these shows, there is a noticeable gap between April and August where no shows are taking place. While this could be a break for the gang in the Summer, Parade speculated that this gap coincides with the start of filming for The Hunt for Gollum. It would be awesome for the group to not only reunite for the shows, but also reunite on the big screen as well!
In any case, be sure to find the city closest to you and save the date. Next year is going to be a great time in Middle-earth!
