The Walking Dead reached its conclusion in 2022, but the franchise continues to endure through a slate of spinoffs. These sequel shows have spanned the globe. Of course, Dead City season 2 is currently airing, continuing the adventures of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). But the even bigger globe-trotting series is Daryl Dixon, who is moving on from his foray in France to visit both the UK and Spain.

When Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) said he wanted to "see what's out there" in the season finale of The Walking Dead, he wasn't lying. Beginning his journey in France, and being joined by fan-favorite Carol (Melissa McBride) in season 2, the duo will visit post-apocalyptic London in the upcoming third season before moving to Spain, where the bulk of the season takes place.

The logistics of their foray is still very much up in the air; I mean, how does one easily traverse the miles between London and Spain in the midst of the zombie apocalypse? Do they go by boat, like how Daryl got to France? Or by air, like how Carol crossed the Atlantic? Let's wait and see. But we know that when they arrive in England, they encounter a survivor played by beloved British actor and comedian Stephen Merchant. And in sunny Spain, they once again find themselves caught in the middle of a war. Take a look at the latest teaser, shared by The Walking Dead on X:

Not only is season 3 being filmed in Spain, the production is made up of "90% plus" Spanish cast and crew. The series has embraced the culture and people of Spain. "This is not an American show that's just relocated to France and then to Spain to shoot another version of an American show," executive producer Steve Squillante told Variety. "This is an American show that's come into the continent and has not only just embraced but also completely wrapped its arms around the history of the people inside the countries and regions that we're shooting."

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 premieres this fall at AMC and AMC+. In the meantime, you can check out Dead City season 2, which is really good!
