Welcome to the final WiC Weekly of 2024! One last time this year, let's go over the biggest stories from the worlds of fantasy, sci-fi, movies, TV and books that we covered on this site over the past seven days. And then we'll meet you in 2025 for a whole year of new stuff.

First up, let's revisit the season 1 finale of Dune: Prophecy, which came in under the wire to brighten up this final stretch of 2024 with some deep space scheming:
