Every week here at WiC, we recap the top stories to come out over the past seven days from the worlds of sci-fi, fantasy, movies, TV and books. It's that time again. Welcome to WiC Weekly.

We begin with a list of book recommendations to make sure your April is as nerdy as possible:

Next up: It's celebration time for House of the Dragon fans as filming on the third season officially gets underway!

But there was also some less pleasant House of the Dragon news, as we got more information on the divide between showrunner Ryan Condal and author George R.R. Martin, who wrote the source material:

But back on the happy side of things, the third season of House of the Dragon will start with what could be one of the most spectacular battle scenes to ever appear on the small screen: 9:16

Another week brought another excellent episode of The Wheel of Time, and we scored an interview with one of the show's creepiest villains:

We're desperate for Amazon to renew The Wheel of Time, and star Rosamund Pike is right there with us:

There's a whole new Harry Potter TV show on the way. Does that mean that the original movie series will be forgotten? At least one star is thinking about it:

Amazon has released a new series called The Bondsman, starring Kevin Bacon as a bounty hunter working for the devil. Is it worth your time?

The third and final season of Squid Game is airing on Netflix in just a few months! Don't pretend you haven't wondered how you'd do in some of those deadly games:

Finally, let's circle back to the ongoing George R.R. Martin-House of the Dragon feud. With all due respect to the people involved, none of whom seem to be acting malicioiusly, I've definitely take na side:
