Autocorrected Game of Thrones Characters

It’s happened to all Game of Thrones fans. You’re excitedly texting on Monday morning to all your friends about last night’s episode of the show, and suddenly you realize you’ve sent a text that talks about how Versus has been arrested by the High Sparrow. (Versus? CERSEI! Damn it, phone!) If you’re lucky the phone’s unhelpful assistance merely turns Westeros names into real world ones. Lord knows how many times I’ve written and received texts about “Margaret Tyrell.” But how does one explain that Sansa has been inserted into the Fake Arya plot line from the books if your phone insists on calling it “Fake Arts?”

It turns out this problem is a common one among Thrones fans. And after it happening one to many times to UK artist James Chapman, he decided to start writing down all the ridiculous and silly substitutions his phone would unhelpfully make. The result: Game of Thrones + Autocorrect, a series of cartoon illustrations of our favorites characters after Autocorrect gets done with them. Here are some of my favorites. Head over to Chapman’s website to see them all.

I’d worry if I were Jorah.

Well, when you put it that way, it sounds like Sansa is about to have a happy life.

Somehow I think he would make that sexy and work for him.

I just love Melisandre is this sketch.

All the better to flatter those in power with.

My personal favorite. “All Mirrors Must Go!”

HOORAY HODOR!
