Threezero debuts realistic Jaime Lannister figurine, complete with extra hands
By Dan Selcke
Threezero has already released three Game of Thrones figurines in the past: Ned Stark, Tyrion Lannister, and Jon Snow. Now, Jaime is getting the figurine treatment—you can pre-order the 12.4 inch Jaime figure from Threezero’s online store starting November 23. It’ll be available at the HBO store later.
Jaime Lannister, sporting his gold armor and metaphorically soiled white cloak.
There are plenty of Game of Thrones toys out there, but Threezero is known for adding extra detail to their products. The Jaime figurine is built 1/6 to scale, has tailored fabric clothing, and comes with several props, including a sword, dirk, belt with scabbards, and removable armor.
Jaime comes complete with all the fixins.
As you can see, the Jaime figurine also comes with “an extra pair of hands,” which would probably be disturbing even if this character weren’t known for getting his sword hand chopped off. Given the clothes and haircut, it’s pretty clear this is supposed to Jaime as he was in Season 1, so you’ll have to use your imagination if you want to play with amputee Jaime, you sicko. I’m sure it wouldn’t be that hard to find some twine and make a little necklace for his severed hand, if you want to reenact that gruesome scene from Season 3.
Casual Jaime.
As usual, Threezero is to be commended for its attention to facial detail. There’s no doubt this is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister. In fact, it’s almost at an uncanny valley level of realism. That’s a compliment, but should I buy one, I better not wake up in the middle of the night to find it staring at me.
The Jaime Lannister figuring will retail for $190. If you haven’t bought any presents for the Game of Thrones fan in your life for the last several Christmases, maybe this could go toward erasing the backlog of emotional debt.
