Live from WiC headquarters, it’s this week in Game of Thrones. Here are the past week’s most eye-catching stories. Let’s start with the obvious: there’s a poster for Season 6, and it’s a doozy.

We dived into a very obscure branch of study called Martinology, the study of when George R.R. Martin is releasing his next book.

You’re not going to find many fans who thought Game of Thrones fifth season represented an improvement over George R.R. Martin’s books, but there were a few changes we were in favor of. Let’s get into them:

Filming on Game of Thrones Season 6 is finally coming to an end, as cast members head home. Still, as filming dies down, HBO’s hype train gets going.

That’s not to say that filming is done completely. Eugene Simon (Lancel Lannister) is still on the job, at least so far of this image of his filthy feet is concerned.

George R.R. Martin’s interview from The South Bank Show is an absorbing way to kill 45 minutes.
