Welcome to WiC Weekly, where we cover the biggest events in Game of Thrones news from the past week. Without further ado:

The cast of Game of Thrones turned out in force for the SAG awards, and were dropping quotes left and right.

The Game of Thrones showrunners played fast and loose on the Scriptnotes Podcast, talking extensively about the process of writing a season of the show.

Lannisters unite! Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage discuss the roles that have made them famous.

On last week’s Small Council, we asked which dead character from the show fans missed the most. You weighed in, and the results were surprising…kinda.

Speaking of Small Council, this week’s has already quite popular. It’s about the Season 6 trailer, which we’re all desperate to see at this point, so that’s not terribly shocking.

Sophie Turner has been dropping some plum hints about Season 6 lately. Here’s the latest:

It’s Super Bowl Sunday. Do you know where your Greyjoys are? If not, we’ve got you covered.

The other Stark sister is dropping some hint bombs as well. Maisie Williams discussed the difficulties of playing Arya in Season 6.

In celebrity news, Emilia “Mother of Dragons” Clarke is trying her hand at movie stardom again in Me Before You, a romantic tearjerker costarring Sam Claflin. Hopefully it’ll go better than her turn as Sarah Connor in Terminator Genisys. I mean, there’s pretty much no way it couldn’t.

Finally, an editorial: I think we all know there’s a resurrection coming on Game of Thrones and in A Song of Ice and Fire, but how is it going to shake down? Based on how resurrection has worked in this world in the past, it might not go as smoothly as we’re all hoping.
