Esoteria: Beautiful Deaths, the Rickon Stark videogame, and more

We’ve got a few more odds and ends for you before we take the plunge into the Game of Thrones Season 6 finale.

First up, Shalva Khotoveli has created a videogame for all of those people who were screaming at Rickon Stark during “Battle of the Bastards” to run in a zig-zap motion while trying to avoid Ramsay’s arrows. Check it out:

It’s called ZIGZAG RICKON!, and you can download it here.

Next, let’s catch up on Robert Ball’s Beautiful Death illustrations, which he makes following every episode of Game of Thrones. The last time we posted these was right after “Book of the Stranger,” and a lot’s happened since then. We begin with the Beautiful Death from “The Door.”

Naturally, it’s of Hodor. What a gorgeous image—I love young Hodor standing in modern-day Hodor’s shadow, all because of Bran.

“Blood of My Blood” was actually pretty light on death, but we’ll always have the image of Benjen Stark mowing down wights with his flaming flail.

Violence is a disease, and the Hound’s got it bad.

An artistic rendering of the Waif’s provocatively photographed death from “No One.”

And finally, we see Ramsay’s final moments through his own eyes, as Sansa looks all kinds of scary.

Speaking of Sansa, she was far and away the most tweeted-about subject during “Battle of the Bastards.” If you don’t believe, look at this chart provided by DataScience. Sansa’s is the red line.

Everything’s better with charts.

Anyway, we hope that holds you for a few more hours, when “The Winds of Winter” graces our TV screens.
