Watch a fan-made promo for Season 7, and other Game of Thrones videos

Do you hear that sound? That’s the wind as is it blows across the vast and empty wastelands of the Game of Thrones offseason, blowing tumbleweeds made of Jon Snow’s curly locks across the horizon. But there, in the distance, an oasis appears, stocked with a few fan-made videos worth of sustenance that will quench our ever-growing thirst for all things Game of Thrones as the days, weeks, and months until Season 7 pass.

First, sample a Game of Thrones tribute song made up of phrases from the show, complete with guitars, drums, and backing vocals. Here is Valar Morghulis.

Beautiful vocals go well with a wonderfully edited video…although, I have to say, I’m still not over “Hold the Door.” Too soon, you guys. Too soon.

Next, YouTuber Beautifullytragic6 made her own promo for Game of Thrones Season 7 by combining footage from the first six seasons with a few other sources.

There is some really great editing done here. I especially enjoyed Jorah Mormont saying “You’re a Targaryen” as the video cut to Jon Snow looking at a flying dragon. But my favorite part of this video is the image of the Hound standing in front of the burning sept from “The Broken Man”—at least I think that’s what it’s supposed to be. Beautiful imagery, that.

Finally, YouTuber Ben Storey created a music video by mixing together Game of Thrones sound effects. This is probably the silliest video in the collection, but it’s still very well-done.

Be on the lookout for more videos like this until news from the Season 7 set starts flowing in—that should happen starting in the next couple of months.
