Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams are hash brownies For Halloween

While those Game of Thrones cast members still in Spain partied it up in Basque country, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams had a party of their own back in Ireland. It was Halloween, after all.

And like most celebrities, they boasted about it on Instagram. Here they are, pre-costume:

And …….should we do a spoiler song here? No? Ok, sure. Your call.

They’re pot brownies. Geddit?

I love the fact that the image has a smoky tinge to it, as well. We’ll politely assume that’s a filter.

Also, Williams noted that, while most friends bring booze to parties, Turner is a little…different.

Turner, at least, couldn’t seem to stick to one costume. When it comes to Halloween, might as well pile it on.

Apparnetly, this took place at a star-studded Halloween party.

Also dressing up for Halloween…at some point in time: Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy) who was reportedly strongarmed into an Aztez costume.

Meanwhile, in other Game of Thrones celebs who are not in Spain, George R.R. Martin took time out of his busy writing schedule (or at least we assume he did) to help design a haunted house inside Meow Wolf’s House of Eternal Return, which is located in his beloved Santa Fe, New Mexico. Basically, Martin bought a local bowling alley and refurbished it into an interactive art display at the behest of Meow Wolf, an art collective. Said Martin:

"They explained this vision of a Victorian house, unmoored in time and space with a haunted forest and a magical cave system, and portals to other worlds. And of course, it pushed all my buttons. I love that kind of stuff."

This in not the first local project where Martin has gotten involved. He also bought the Jean Cocteau Cinema a few years back to save it from being closed down, and his NotABlog is active in promoting whatever the movie house is showing.

Perhaps it’s not as fun or silly as hash brownies, or as wild a party as the Spain-based cast had. But it’s good to see Martin continuing to leave a legacy in his beloved hometown. And he didn’t even have to kill off any beloved characters to do it.

Finally, here’s a few more shots of some of the Game of Thrones cast members hanging out in the Basque Country, before they set out for Seville.
