Game of Thrones will have a big presence at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards, airing on A&E on Dec. 11. It’s nominated for Best Drama, and Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke are all up for acting awards. Also, it’s nominated for the coveted Most Bingeworthy Award, on which fans can vote. Get on that. We can’t lose to Stranger Things!
Now, Entertainment Weekly reports that GoT veteran Kristian Nairn, aka Hodor, will be DJ’ing both the event and the official afterparty. Die-hard fans know that Nairn, in addition to being an actor, is an electronic music producer. He’s toured around the world with a show called Rave of Thrones, and has also put out original music.
No doubt he’ll bring the house down. And if Game of Thrones loses any awards, voters will have to answer to him.
Elsewhere around the world, Game of Thrones actors are keeping it loose in their free time. At the moment, most of our attention is focused on Los Barruecos, where the production is shooting a huge battle scene. Some of the cast members involved in that shoot, chief among them Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime) and Jerome Flynn (Bronn) have been spotted around the city of Cáceres, whether shopping at the Carrefour market…
…or hitting the El Peru sports center.
Other cast members have been relatively quiet. However, Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) recently took a moment to shoot a photo with a fan in Belfast.
Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) is back in the area, too. Are these two filming scenes at Titantic Studios together?
Also back in Belfast: Kit Harington (Jon Snow).
The gang’s all there.
Sophie Turner, however, remains away. She’s continuing her work with Women for Rwanda, an organization that helps women who experienced sexual violence during the Rwandan genocide in 1994.
