Con of Thrones is an upcoming fan convention that will celebrate George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones, and A Song of Ice and Fire. To be held in Nashville, TN from June 30 to July 2, the con will feature a variety of cast and crew members from the show, including:
- Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton)
- Kerry Ingram (Shireen Baratheon)
- Katie Dickie (Lysa Arryn)
- Rupert Vansittart (Yohn Royce)
- David J. Peterson, the linguist behind the Dothraki and Valyrian languages
- Tommy Dunne, the show’s weapons master
We can only imagine Iwan Rheon will be on a panel called “Why you shouldn’t hate me.”
“All I want is love.”
Anyway, it promises to be a blast, and guests are still being announced. Today, Watchers on the Wall revealed two more attendees: Sam Coleman (Young Hodor) and Aimee Richardson (Myrcella Baratheon).
To be specific, Richardson played Myrcella in seasons 1 and 2 — Nell Tiger Free played her in seasons 5 and 6. Richardson had a great sense of humor about being recast, putting up this video after the recast was announced:
Meanwhile, between running for public office and writing a stirring ballad about Hodor’s life (listen below), Coleman has had a very interesting time since his memorable stint in season 6.
Both Richardson and Coleman should make fun guests, although we expect that Vansittart will be the one faced with the most questions about what’s coming in season 7, since he’s the only one whose character is still alive.
