Imagine, just for a moment, that you happened to be traveling with someone who is essentially your best friend. You then, in turn, meet someone who used to be friends with them back in their childhood days, but has since become the antithesis to everything that your best friend believes in. That friend turned enemy (maybe) then became a merciless psychopath, bent on causing havoc and destruction for their own inscrutable goals.
Now, in that former freind’s insane rampage, imagine that you were caught up in the carnage. Your significant other was not only possibly killed by that person, but was then somehow weaponized. Then, once captured, this being managed to murder those guarding them and escape while almost causing your deaths. Then, finally, once you thought they were permanently removed from the situation, you discover they are back again. Imagine conversing with that being. You may well be imagining the conversation between Clara and Missy during Series Nine of Doctor Who.
We know that Missy will be returning at the beginning of the new season of Doctor Who, appearing in the two part episode The Magician’s Apprentice/The Witch’s Familiar. Based on the trailer for the upcoming season, it seems as though Clara and Missy will be having a little chat at some point in time.

One would have to imagine that, with Clara likely still angered over Danny Pink’s death, the conversation would not be amicable. After all, imagine if your loved one was killed and you had a conversation with their likely murderer. While Doctor Who is not a program with profanity, one would have to imagine that the tone of the conversation would not exactly be pleasant.
This conversation could also go a long way towards clearing up one of the mysteries surrounding Clara. We did see Missy watching Clara and the Doctor on her iPad, with the infamous line of “Clara, my Clara” being spoken. What, if anything, did Missy actually mean by that phrase? Could we actually get to see whether or not she orchestrated Clara’s meeting of the Doctor? And if she did bring those two together, for what purpose?
We may finally get an idea as to what, if anything, Missy has to do with Clara’s story on Doctor Who. Yet, even if we find out that there is no connection between the two, this conversation could still turn out to be quite entertaining to witness.
