Up first, here’s a look at Michelle Gomez as Missy, having a cuppa tea while she plays with a new toy. Also, notice the vortex manipulator on her wrist, not unlike the one previously worn by Captain Jack Harkness:

Next, here’s Jenna Coleman as Clara, looking stylish in leather with an ominous world map behind her. Where is she? Some sort of UNIT facility, perhaps?:

Speaking of UNIT, here’s Jemma Redgrave as Head of Scientific Research Kate Stewart, in a decidely casual outfit, looking quite pensive:

This one should look familiar, as it’s the same picture exclusively revealed by Entertainment Weekly in early July. At the time, Peter Capaldi described the picture thusly: “The photo shows the Doctor about to make a mistake that has cataclysmic repercussions”:

Up next is a great studio photo of Capaldi showing off the Twelfth Doctor‘s new duds (one of a number of new Series 9 wardrobes):

And here’s Capaldi again, this time showing off his new Jon Pertwee/Third Doctor-style velvet coat:

Followed by a similarly-styled studio shot of Missy (if you’ve seen the cover of Doctor Who Magazine #490, it should be obvious at this point the cover was made by combining this image and the one above):

Last, but not least, here’s another shot of Capaldi further invoking the Third Doctor with his now-signature outstretched hand:

Great stuff! After all this time, it’s exciting to realize we’re finally so close to new Doctor Who adventures. I’d wager we’re going to continue to see a deluge of promotional material between now and the premiere.
