Art Parkinson (Rickon Stark) Spotted In Belfast, with friends

We know the statuses of most of the current Starks left alive on Game of Thrones. Sansa was last seen jumping from a great height, and since then Sophie Turner has reportedly been filming in Winterfell. Arya was last seen going blind, and if her Instagram is any indication, she still suffers from that malady. Jon Snow, still dead and not dead. Bran Stark is returning to Season 6 after a gap year.

But what of little Rickon? The littlest Stark has been AWOL from both page and screen for some time now, ever since he, Osha, and Shaggydog decided that going North of the Wall was just a little too mad of a plan to follow, and headed off for parts elsewhere. Though Rickon has yet to reappear on the page, it looks like he’ll be making his grand return this season, if these pictures from a fan’s Instagram in Belfast are any indication.

(Note: The original Instagram post with this picture was removed, but the internet is forever.)

As you can see, it’s not just Art Parkinson who is kicking around a restaurant in Belfast along with other members of the cast (Below, from the same restaurant lunch: Iwan Rheon, Alfie Allen and John Bradley.) ‎Natalia Tena, who plays Osha, is also there, and pictured above with Parkinson. This suggests that we will finally find out where the two of them headed off to, and what they’re doing. Whatever it is, since he’s hanging out with the Northern contingent, we can guess that they are holed up in the upper half of the continent.

Hurry up @nelltigerfree, we have no idea how to pitch this tent @deancchapman

Speaking of Bran, here he is, kicking around with Dean Charles Chapman and Nell Tiger Free. No that doesn’t really tell us much, other than the three of them are still in Belfast, and have at least a little bit of free time.

And another more mysterious picture from Belfast: a pair of large tents. Are they for filming in the North? Or being readied to be shipped down to Almeria for desert landscapes?
