It felt like it would go on forever. But all good scenes much come to an end, so that post-production can get to work. And so it looks to be with the massive battle scene being filmed in Saintfield, Northern Ireland (that’s some smoke wafting up from the set pictured above), which according to reports is finally wrapping up.
How do we know? Because the actors playing members of the Bolton army were seen enjoying what looks to be a celebration of finally finishing what is perhaps the longest scene ever filmed for the show.
Ain’t no party like a Bolton Army Party. Because a Bolton Army party…. well, let’s hope they survived the arrival of Winter?
(Translation: Bumping into Kit Harington at the Bathrooms, and other things that can happen to you in Belfast.)
Looks like it might just be so. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Kit Harington was on hand for the celebration, which makes sense for those who have been paying attention to the goings-on behind the scenes at Saintfield. Nonetheless, actors (and ex-actors) continue to insist that his character is deader than a doornail.
Yes, even Rose Leslie has gotten in on the “That wasn’t the Jon Snow you were looking for” act, since her poor boyfriend got caught filming. (Got caught filming/Once, when I was alive.) She and Maisie Williams should team up for a buddy comedy: “The Half Truth Tellers.”
