After two straight months of filming in six different Spanish locations, including Girona, the Castell de Santa Florentina, Navarra, the Castillo de Zafra, Peñíscola and now Almería, Game of Thrones Season 6 has wrapped in that country. According to La Voz De Almería, the sets pieces set up in the final locations in the city, the Alcazaba of Almería, have already been dismantled, and the trucks are packed up and rolling back home to Ireland.

There was at least more Sand Snake sighting in the area, as Keisha Castle-Hughes (Obara Sand) posted this pic to her Instagram. Considering previous pics from the area, it seems more likely than ever that the Alcazaba stood in for Dorne now.
The cast and crew, which including executive producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss as well as the interesting combination of Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand) and Conleth Hill (Varys) celebrated the end of filming, by going out to dinner in the town for a final evening before flying home as well.

And with their jobs finally finished, the thousands of extras were herded up and taken back to get out of costume for a final time.

And finally: end of filming celebratory cake:
The total amount of euros Spain will make off this two-month stint has yet to be calculated, but considering that Game of Thrones only visited two Spanish locations last year, and that resulted in a 15% boost in tourism for the country, this will most likely have a major impact on the region, and should provide profits from fans who want to walk the streets of Braavos and Meereen for years to come.
