Celebrity roundup: Charles Dance sells his car, Maisie misses Paris, and Cersei fights Zombies
Rev up your engines and ready your wallets: Tywin Lannister is selling his car. Specifically, Charles Dance has placed his 1967 Ford Mustang up for sale at Classic Car Auctions, a reputable auction house for classic cars. According to the description, the thing’s been owned by him and his wife since 2002 and was a “daily driver” through 2013. The image of Tywin Lannister in charge of a car is terrifying to behold. Anyway, 2013 saw the car receive a full restoration, and now some lucky rich car buyer is going to have the option of purchasing it for themselves. WHATEVER. Hat tip to Uproxx for calling this to our attention.
In other news, Maisie Williams has to unexpectedly bail on Paris ComicCon this weekend for “personal reasons.”
She doesn’t elaborate (obviously) but continues by tweeting a heartfelt apology and a desire for everyone at the con to have fun.
Hopefully it’s nothing too serious, but it’s important enough for her to cancel a con appearance, so fingers crossed! In the meantime, you can still catch Williams on Doctor Who, as the second part of her two-part story airs tonight on whatever channel airs the show in your country. Check out the trailer.
Also in trailer news, the latest teaser for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies gives us our first glimpses of Charles Dance and Lena Headey, who both have important roles in this classic comedy of manners turned brutal zombie movie. Dance plays Mr. Bennett, the father of hero Elizabeth Bennet, and can be seen around 1:07. Headey, meanwhile, will play Lady Catherine de Bourgh, who in this version of the story has an eye-patch, combat training, and a cadre of ninjas. See her at 2:21.
This movie is weird.
