Amanda Peet may not be on Game of Thrones, but she isn’t above talking about it when promoting her own projects. Peet, who is married to showrunner David Benioff, is a career actress in her own right, with well-reviewed shows to her credit, and now a children’s book she wrote with DB Weiss’ wife Andrea Troyer: “Dear Santa, Love, Rachel Rosenstein” (Perfect for the holiday season). She recently joked she would divorce Benioff over Jon Snow’s death, but now, according to her interview with the New York Daily News, she’s just been reduced to begging.
“I must not be very good in bed,” she joked to the Daily News.
“I ask (my husband) the same question almost every day. I send him links to things on the Internet that I’ve read and seen and I’m like, ‘Send me evidence. Send me evidence where he’s talking or moving.’
Clearly, she hasn’t been reading our website, or she’d know the answer to this question already. (I wouldn’t click on those links if I were you, unless you want spoilers.)
Usually when he brings home dailies I try to push the angle of the computer so I can’t see what’s happening. If I catch a glimpse of something I get very angry at him.
It’s a little bit like being married to someone who’s in the CIA. It’s not as important obviously.
No word in the article if “Dear Santa, Love, Rachel Rosenstein” includes any references to dragons, White Walkers, or Westeros. Somehow I doubt it does though. Though George R.R. Martin wouldn’t make a bad-looking Santa, if he were interested.
