Doctor Who: Doctor’s Notes will air Doctor Who Series Nine episodes with specially selected extras from viewers and behind the scenes.
Many television viewers in the United States and Europe are familiar with the popular series Pop-Up Video. On this program, music videos are shown peppered with pop up bubbles “— officially called “info nuggets” — containing trivia, witticisms and borderline sexual innuendos throughout music videos.” (Wikipedia) From my personal experience, it was a fun and memorable part of my teenage years in the 1990s. I am fairly sure that I continued to watch during my early college days, but my memory is a bit wibbly wobbly from that time in my life. Ah, college…
Anyway, with Pop-Up Video in mind, the BBC America has recently reported that it will air a similar program using episodes of Doctor Who. The new show, titled Doctor Who: Doctor’s Notes, will feature not only behind the scenes facts and storyboards, but also fan comments and art from around the internet. Despite the internet being a well-known breeding ground for smut and obscenity (don’t get us wrong, such content is not always necessarily a bad thing), these specially selected tidbits will most likely be on the same level of family friendliness as Doctor Who itself.

Doctor’s Notes
, as well as the eager anticipation as they await to see who made the final cut. I assume that the folks working on the show will ask permission before including any such content in the program. You can view the trailer video below:
