Second Wave Doctor Who Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures to be Released in February 2016

For Doctor Who fans who love toys and collectables, Funko is about to release a second wave for your enjoyment.
Funko recently released a Pop! Ninth Doctor vinyl figure holding a banana, exclusive to Hot Topic retail stores. It is what inspired my post about bananas on Doctor Who. Well, Whovians, that figure was just a warm-up! Funko has just announced that, in February 2016, it will be releasing seven new series 2 (series of figures, not episodes) vinyl figures of characters from the show. You can pre order them here.
The new figures will be: the Ninth Doctor in his usual outfit — this one has a purple t-shirt, while the banana variant has a black one — and with his sonic screwdriver, Rose Tyler in her “Union Jack” outfit from ‘The Empty Child’/’The Doctor Dances,’ River Song in her outfit and with her gun from ‘The Day of the Moon,’ Captain Jack Harkness in his classic World War 2 brass button trench coat, Sarah Jane Smith in her “Andy Pandy” overalls and holding the crystalline ring from ‘The Hand of Fear,’ a Silent, and K-9. They will all be released first at Hot Topic, except for K-9, who is exclusive to GameStop.

Funko also has keychains, so far including the Fourth Doctor, the Tenth Doctor, the Eleventh Doctor, the Twelfth Doctor, and an Adipose. Also, do not forget the Pop! figures’ cousins, the Wacky Wobbler Bobble Heads, so far including the Tenth Doctor, the Eleventh Doctor, Clara Oswald, and a Weeping Angel.
And just to be clear, the Funko Pop! vinyl figures are not the be confused with the Titans vinyl figures. While similar, each brand has its own variety of a mixture of creepy and cute.
