There is a lot of love in the Doctor Who family. A recent example of this was seen at the 2016 Wizard World Comic Con in Portland, OR.
While deeply analyzing Doctor Who is a highly enjoyable pastime, we at Doctor Who Watch are not above a good fansqueeing. And who better to bring us a reason to fansquee than the ultimate fount of things over which to fansquee: John Barrowman? One of the most famous examples of this in the history of Whovianism involves David Tennant, John Barrowman, and Russell T Davies on a panel at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con:
I have watched the footage countless times. You can also see a bit of it in the following compilation video, which also includes instances involving both Gareth David-Lloyd and Kai Owen.

As for canonical romance, Barrowman’s character Captain Jack Harkness has had his share, both on Doctor Who and Torchwood. Considering only the former, while we got to see Jack kiss the Ninth Doctor, many of us ached with both Jack and Martha as they empathized with one another regarding their pining love Doctor during the Tenth Doctor’s run. And we sadly never got to see Jack while Eleven was around. In any case, Jack and River certainly need to meet.
Recently, however, Barrowman and Matt Smith spent some affectionate time together at the Wizard World Comic Con in Portland, OR. Barrowman shared a pic of the event on his Facebook page, with the caption,
"Look everyone I found the Doctor and he still loves me after #bangkillmarry #portland love Jb"

Radio Times shared the following commentary of the picture:
"…and suddenly we’re campaigning for a Big Finish Valentine’s Day special. That said, we really don’t want to hear about this game of ‘Bang Kill Marry’."
While we can agree on a Valentine’s Day special, it would be interesting to know what went down during that game.
