Guide to throwing the ultimate Game of Thrones viewing party

Let there be games!
At our feast, we generally eat first, and then play Game of Thrones Jeopardy before the show, and afterwards we play a Thrones-themed drinking game, loosely based off this scene from Inglorious Basterds. But let’s focus on Jeopardy first.
Jeopardy is an easy way to keep the Game of Thrones theme going throughout the party. We take a poster board, plaster the show’s logo on it, and then write the categories and questions on note cards taped to said poster board. We buy prizes for the top three contestants, ranging from copies of a season on Blu-Ray to graphic novels of Dunk and Egg’s adventures to replicas of the iron coin Jaqen H’ghar gave Arya. You’d be surprised how fiercely your guests will compete for prizes and for the pride of winning a trivia game. We even have friends that Skype in just for the Jeopardy.
Categories for Jeopardy can by anything you choose: You Know Nothing Jon Snow, Who Killed Me?, Who Said It?, and House Words are just a few examples. Have fun with it!
During the afterparty, we play a card game involving characters from the first four seasons. HBO Shop sells two decks of cards, each with different characters on the face cards, and each costs around four dollars. Strap these to your head somehow, and viola: your very own Game of Thrones drinking game. You try to guess what card you have on your head by asking yes or no questions of your party guests, until you guess correctly. Be careful, though; this escalates quickly.
There are plenty of other games out there, so choose any that you think your guests might enjoy!
