Maisie Williams Is Tired of Jon Snow, While Jason Momoa Cheers on Dany
By Ani Bundel
You think you’re tired of hearing about whether Jon Snow will live or die? Imagine if you’re on the cast. You think you’re doing an interview to talk about your project or your character (after all, it is *your* interview) ….and all they ask about is Jon Snow.
According to Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), it’s gotten beyond tiresome. Talking to the Irish Independent, she says the number of times she’s been asked is astronomical.
It’s quite irritating at this stage. I’ve probably been asked 30,000 times, over and over and over, ‘Is he dead? Is he dead? Is he dead?’ It’s getting… you know… irritating.
STOP ASKING ME ABOUT JON SNOW DAMMIT
So what does the reporter do? Naturally, he becomes number 30,001. “You couldn’t leave it alone, could you?” she cries. “What about Arya? Forget about the rest of them.”
She’s already lost so many members of her family, her life as she knew it was ripped away at such a young age. Arya is a survivalist. And this is something she’s going to have to battle through, it will be her greatest test. Will she push through, will she fail? Trying to survive without your eyesight, pretty difficult.
But if Jon Snow is a subject that some actors on the show are tired of, the subject of Daenerys Targaryen is not, especially to one actor who hasn’t been on the show in a while. Jason Momoa, who once played her husband, Khal Drogo, took to Instagram this week to cheer on the survival of his former wife.

See you in Ireland? Really? Is this because Aquaman, the Justice League movie Momoa is starring in, will be filming in Ireland? Or are we getting about what’s to come in Season 7? (Or maybe he’s just going to visit.)
There was already excitement that Momoa might return this year, when another actor playing a Dothraki was misidentified as Momoa, suggesting that Dany might have a flashback or hallucination. But this is something altogether different. As we know, Season 7 has been greenlit, which means that contracts for those not already signed through next season are going out, and the first stages of the casting process will begin for any characters who are entering (or reentering) Westeros in the final hours of the show. Could one of those be Drogo? With no books to guide us, and no knowledge of what’s to come in Dany’s storyline, anything is possible.
