Bill’s Outfit Already on Display at the Doctor Who Experience

Pearl Mackie has had just about one minute thus far in terms of being seen on Doctor Who. However, her character, Bill, already has a presence at the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff.

Bill is still quite the enigma on Doctor Who. While we know she is the new companion, we really do not know much about her, given that she has made an appearance for approximately a minute thus far. We know what she looks like and that she may well be a fan of the late musician Prince, but that is about all.

Despite this being the case, it does not mean that she cannot have a presence in the Doctor Who Experience. Indeed, her outfit is already a part of the exhibition, albeit for a limited amount of time. Now, fans can see her stylish attire from that first appearance.

It is certainly interesting that Bill’s outfit is involved in the tour this early on. Perhaps this is a nod for cosplayers to get a chance to create even more authentic looking costumes, getting themselves ready for the various conventions. Or, perhaps, the BBC is looking to get people more acclimated to the idea of the new companion, based off of the troublingly mixed reception that she received.

Maybe, by putting Bill out in the open and getting her more and more into our collective consciousness, the negative perception can largely be turned around. People do, in some cases, tend to have a more favorable perception of those people or items that they see more frequently. So having Bill, or at least her outfit, in a public setting might make the transition that much easier.

Bill may not make her official appearance on Doctor Who until either the Christmas special, or when we finally get to see Series Ten. Her outfit, however, is already a part of the (temporary) annals of the Doctor Who Experience.
