Game of Thrones Screencap Breakdown: “The Broken Man”

That camp outside Riverrun just swelled in size, didn’t it?
I don’t care if they are CGI: all the shots of Riverrun this week were breath-taking.
As it this shot of Jaime walking up to the edge of the drawbridge to try and make a connection with the Blackfish.
It’s a game of trust.
But, much like Olenna when she met Tyrion in Season 3, the Blackfish was hoping Jaime would be more impressive, more his own man, and less of someone else’s pawn. Like Olenna, I think he was hoping Jaime would be like his father.
Speaking of failed connections, everything at House Glover went badly. Everything.
More gorgeous vistas helped along by CGI, as we return to the Long Bridge of Volantis.
While there, Theon and Yara stop by a brothel.
New drinking game: when Yara says drink, you drink.
But for all the whoring and drinking, this is the moment where a connection is made.
And after this moment, Theon quiets his twitching and seems to find inner peace again.
