It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an exterior shot the Twins. But we’re back here once again.
“The Freys and the Lannisters send their regard.” Walder Frey seems to be under the impression that the Freys and the Lannisters are on equal footing now. The only way that’s true is if the Lannister stock has taken a major nosedive.
Well, actually, in that case….
So why is Jaime here having dinner with Walder Frey anyway? Doesn’t he know about their after-dinner entertainment hobbies?
Shouldn’t he be heading back to King’s Landing before the band starts up the Rains of Castamere?
We’re spending more time in Winterfell than one might think, apparently, as Littlefinger comes calling for his reward in the castle’s godswood.
I’m curious what Sansa thinks Littlefinger wants.
But then again, she probably knows. Is Sansa willing to marry (or at least get engaged to) yet another of the true monsters of the series?
No time for that, now—Davos is here to rat out Melisandre.
Now, we assume that he’s demanding she confess to burning Shireen at the stake. But is that misdirection?
Could Davos be demanding she confess to something else? After all, what exactly does he expect Jon to do about Melisandre burning Shireen to death? Stannis *agreed* to it, FFS.
And don’t you think she’d do the same thing over again if she thought it would help Jon?
