Online shopping behemoth Amazon is once more celebrating its birthday with Prime Day, where Amazon Prime users are given access to all kinds of fantastic savings. Along with sales on virtually every kind of merchandise one can think of, Game of Thrones fans can join in the fun with a special one-day offer. Available only during Prime Day, Seasons 1 through 5 of HBO’s smash hit are available for digital download for a grand total of $59.99. That’s just a little over a dollar an episode!

The catch, of course, is that one must have Amazon Prime in order to take advantage of the deal. But fear not, fellow Thrones fans: Amazon offers a free thirty-day trial that can be cancelled at any time. The digital downloads can be viewed on virtually any device, including mobile devices. It should also be made clear that these are not rentals: you are purchasing the episodes and will have access to them at any point going forward.

If there’s a better way to pass the time between seasons than to relive the adventures of all your favorite characters, we have yet to find it. And with the wait between seasons likely to be longer than normal, now seems as good a time as any to purchase the bulk of the series.
