Doctor Who: Ralf Little Starts Filming for Series Ten
By Leah Tedesco
Ralf Little began filming on Friday for Doctor Who Series Ten.
Last week, we saw a leak of some of the new cast members for the upcoming Series Ten of Doctor Who. A few days ago, one of those actors, Ralf Little, was officially confirmed. He began filming on Friday.
Just as when Maisie Williams’ addition to the cast was announced, many fan theories are popping up around the internet, speculating on the identity of the character whom Little will be playing. Two options that have been tossed about are the Master (highly unlikely, in my opinion) and his previous voice role as Guy Fawkes from the Doctor Who video game The Gunpowder Plot. While the BBC is currently keeping mum about the details of said character, we at least know from the leak that the name will be Steadfast. The other two actors from the leak are Mina Anwar as Goodthing and Kaizer Akhtar as Praiseworthy.

As we know from numerous characters over the history of the show, a name can often be a pseudonym meant to conceal a true identity. Considering this, it is conceivable that “Steadfast” could very well be the Master, Guy Fawkes, or any other character, old or new. It is likely that the character will embody the trait of steadfastness, so we can probably glean a very vague sense of who they are. This would make sense if he were to play Guy Fawkes. My guess, though, is that Little will be playing an entirely new character.
Some of Little’s previous roles include Antony Royle in the BBC television sitcom series The Royle Family, Jonny in the BBC television sitcom series Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, and Hooky in the comedy-drama film 24 Hour Party People.
