Welcome back to another edition of Take the Black, Winter is Coming’s official Game of Thrones podcast. This week we shift from recapping Season 6 to our long trek through the wasteland that is the Game of Thrones off-season.

This week’s topic include:

• The Game of Thrones Season 6 Emmy nominations.
• Which cast members got snubbed. We all feel that Iwan Rheon, as Ramsay Bolton, was the biggest oversight. And while Bella Ramsey (Lyanna Mormont) wasn’t considered this season, we all feel she could simply scowl at the academy and they’d give her a trophy.
• We talk about what Game of Thrones Season 7 starting later than usual means for the fans of the show.
• We go through the Season 7 directors, and theorize as to how each one will tackle their episodes.
• We talk about the new filming locations.
• Isis teaches us all how to properly pronounce all those new locations in Spain.

As usual, Take the Black leans on the NSFW side (beware F-bombs). We haven’t yet received any news as to where each cast member is filming, so there aren’t any spoilers to worry about in this episode.
