Doctor Who: David Suchet and Pearl Mackie Have Grand Time on Series Ten Set

David Suchet (the Landlord) and Pearl Mackie (Bill) bonded and had fun on the set of Series Ten of Doctor Who.

More from Winter is Coming

Last week, we shared the news that former Poirot star David Suchet will be guest starring as “the Landlord” in the upcoming Series Ten of Doctor Who. With behind the scenes production pictures in both the Daily Mail and the Mirror, David Suchet looks to be having a grand time shooting for the popular science fiction program.

He also seems to have really hit it off with co-star Pearl Mackie, who is playing the Doctor’s latest companion, Bill. In addition to the jovial pictures, there was also a friendly Twitter exchange between the two actors, as can be seen over at Radio Times.

As for the pictures, below are just a few of the ones that have been shared.

In contrast to his former role as the meticulously dapper Hercule Poirot, Suchet can be seen below as the Landlord; While technically still in a dapper suit, it is one that is much more casual than the detective’s, as well as being just a smidge on the shabby side.

Here is another picture of Suchet, in a much better example than the one above of the lighthearted vibe on the set that day.

And here is Pearl Mackie, sporting her already iconic contagious smile, and one of her various trademark funky outfits.
