According to an article by Michael Yong of Bristol Post, filming for Series Ten of Doctor Who is currently happening at Kings Weston House in Kingsweston, Bristol, United Kingdom. The gorgeous location is a popular wedding venue. As has been previously done for the upcoming series, fake snow is being used. It is still unclear if any of these snowscapes are for the Christmas special or not.
From the costumes, it appears that the shoot is connected to one from earlier in the month in Cardiff, Wales.
The following are a couple of pictures of Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie in costume, posing with fan Emma Warren.
From the next picture, it looks as if Capaldi got down and dirty… our kind of Time Lord.
Reportedly, this was due to explosions during filming.
Speaking of snow, there is a cool new snowy item available in time for the winter holidays. The light-up TARDIS snow (really glitter) globe by Kurt Adler is officially licensed by the BBC and available for purchase at both Amazon.com and Fun.com.

Speaking of weddings, a fantastic brother-in-law surprised newlywed couple Lesley and Brian at their wedding reception with a congratulatory video message from Peter Capaldi speaking as the Doctor.
