Filming for Game of Thrones Season 7 is ongoing, but that doesn’t mean all the cast members are on set all the time. For example, although shooting continues in Belfast, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) recently took a break to attend the Venice Film Festival in…uh, Venice. She’s back now, though, and has gotten right down to business by going on a shopping trip with costar Maisie Williams (Arya).
The date and location information are helpful.
As the note says, the onscreen sisters were at the Victoria Square shopping center in Belfast, which sports over 70 stores and restaurants. And a movie theater. And a giant glass dome.
The actresses hit a tattoo parlor, possibly to get matching tattoos. Suggested phrases: “You’re going to die tomorrow. Sleep well.”
Sophie Turner uploaded a couple of pictures personally.
Incidentally, it’s around 59 degrees Fahrenheit in Belfast as of this writing, which I guess is cold enough for a fluffy hoodie.
You gotta love a restaurant (the Harlem Cafe) willing to use poor reviews to its advantage.
And the fun rolls on. Maisie Williams filmed a pretty damned funny commercial for Three UK, an internet service provider in the UK. The company is rolling out a new technology called 4G Super-Voice, which it hopes will drastically cut down on service black spots. Someone thought about how black spots are also a kind of skin blemish, and a marketing campaign was born…

“Let’s face the stark reality.” Geddit?
Actually, I think a lot of this is hilarious. Highlights include Maisie Williams being a “fairness ambassador,” Three UK using “science-y stuff” (with “wall-going-through technology”), and Williams not receiving anything for the endorsement “apart from payment and money.” Viral marketing go!
Finally, because it doesn’t quite fit anywhere else, The Wrap reports that production on a remake of The Crow, the 1994 movie starring Brandon Lee as a rock musician who comes back from the dead to kick ass and take names, will start filming in January of 2017. Why does that matter to Game of Thrones fans? Because Jason Momoa, aka Khal Drogo, reportedly landed the title role. This is on top of starring as Aquaman in a bevy of movies from Warner Bros., by the way. The man is busy.
